These pages are intended to help the beginner genealogist, however it can be helpful to the most experienced as well. Family History has intrigued me since I was a young child. It is part of who we were and who we are today. How's that saying go....something about "you don't know where you're going unless you know where you've been." I think it applies when working on our family histories. I also believe passing our family heritage to our children is very important, after all they are our future!

At least now, with all the new technologies and thanks to genealogy websites and family tree software, I no longer have to spend hours in the local genealogy library's dark basement looking through microfiche.
